A third row that is not an apology
Most seven-seaters treat the back row as occasional. The GLS gives it real legroom, its own air vents and USB power, and electric folding so the boot floor goes flat without anyone climbing in to wrestle a catch.
Those seven real seats are what make the Åre ski week a one-car trip: two adults, three children and a grandparent, with skis on the roof and the boot still usable. In summer the same space carries a week's food out to the archipelago.
From the summer house in July to Åre in February
In summer the GLS is booked for the archipelago and Roslagen: seven people, the food for a week, and a last kilometre of gravel that four-wheel drive makes uneventful. In winter it goes north for the ski week, with racks and a roof box fitted before delivery rather than handed over in a car park.
Child seats in the right sizes come free and are installed before the car reaches you. Send ages and weights with the booking and nobody spends the first half hour of the holiday reading a manual in the cold.
The GLS in Stockholm and beyond
Families usually start at Arlanda or a Stockholm address and finish somewhere else entirely. We deliver inside a confirmed 60-minute window and collect from the resort, the summer house or Arlanda — wherever the week ends.
The Stockholm and Gothenburg congestion tax is reconciled to your booking and shown as a single line afterwards. Winter tyres are fitted from October to April at no cost, and cross-border travel into Norway, Denmark and Finland is permitted and noted on the papers.
Renting the GLS in Sweden
Can the Mercedes-Benz GLS be delivered to Arlanda?
Yes. We meet you in arrivals at Arlanda with the car ready rather than sending you to a remote car park, and Bromma, Landvetter and Skavsta are available on request. Send your flight number and a delay moves the handover at no cost.
Is the Stockholm congestion tax included?
Charges are reconciled to your booking and shown as one line afterwards. There is nothing to register or pay at a barrier.
Can the GLS go to Åre?
Regularly — it is the car most families book for the Åre ski week. Racks and a roof box are fitted before delivery, and we collect from the resort or from Arlanda if you fly home from there.
Does the Mercedes-Benz GLS really seat seven adults?
Yes. The third row has proper legroom, its own vents and power outlets. For seven adults plus full luggage, ask about the Escalade or the Suburban as well.
Are child seats included?
Yes, at no charge. Send us the children's ages and weights with the booking and the correct seats are fitted and checked before the car is delivered.
