Range Rover
Easy to place on a single-track road with passing places.
The fjord roads of western Norway are narrow, steep and lined with barriers, and the Range Rover is the car we recommend for most of them. A high seating position to see over the barriers, a ride that stays composed on broken surfaces, and ski racks fitted when the season turns.

The commanding driving position, properly executed
The Range Rover puts you high without the wallow that usually comes with it. Air suspension keeps the body level, and the seats are among the best in the fleet for a long day behind the wheel.
On a fjord route that seating position does a second job: the view is over the crash barrier rather than into it, which on the road from Bergen to the Sognefjord is most of the reason for being there.
Visibility over the barriers, composure on the broken bits
The drive from Bergen through Voss to the Sognefjord, or down to Hardanger, is some of the best driving in Europe and some of the most demanding: single-track sections with passing places, tunnels that open onto hairpins, and surfaces that winter has rearranged. Sitting high matters, because the view is over the barrier rather than into it.
Air suspension keeps the Range Rover level through all of it, and the square bonnet makes the car easy to place when a coach appears around the next bend. It is the car we recommend first for most fjord itineraries.
Getting the Range Rover to the start of the drive
Bergen is where the fjord routes begin, so most Norwegian Range Rover bookings start at Flesland arrivals or a hotel on Bryggen. We deliver inside a confirmed 60-minute window and collect in Oslo, Stavanger or wherever the route ends.
Every car carries an AutoPASS tag, with tolls reconciled to the booking and shown as one line afterwards. Winter tyres are fitted from October to April at no cost, and cross-border travel into Sweden, Denmark and Finland is permitted and noted on the papers.
Renting the Range Rover in Norway
Can the Range Rover be delivered to Gardermoen or Bergen?
Yes. We meet you in arrivals at Oslo Gardermoen or Bergen Flesland with the car ready, rather than at an off-terminal car park. Send your flight number and we track the actual landing time, so a delay moves the handover at no cost.
How are AutoPASS tolls handled?
Every car carries a working AutoPASS tag. Charges are reconciled to your booking and shown as one line afterwards — nothing to register, top up or dispute at a barrier.
Can I return the Range Rover in a different Norwegian city?
Yes — Bergen to Oslo over the mountains is the most requested Range Rover itinerary we run in Norway. There is no depot the car must return to, and the repositioning appears as its own line on the quote.
Are ski racks included with the Range Rover?
Yes, fitted before delivery at no charge. Tell us what you are carrying when you book and the car arrives ready to load.
How much luggage does a Range Rover take?
Four large cases behind the rear seats with all five seats in use, and considerably more with the rear bench folded.
