Bentley Continental GT
The west coast in July. We say plainly when it is the wrong car.
Norway's fjord roads between May and September are some of the great drives in the world, and the Continental GT is built to cover them. We are equally honest about winter: from October it is the wrong car for Norway, and we will tell you so.

Hand-finished inside, and it shows
The Continental's interior is the reason people book it a second time. Knurled metal, quilted hide and a rotating fascia that turns from screen to dials — none of it is necessary, and all of it makes a long drive feel like an occasion rather than a transfer.
On a fjord tour most couples travel two-up with the rear seats folded: bags for a week of hotels between Bergen and the Atlantic Road, and a cabin that makes the fifth hour of driving as good as the first.
The Atlantic Road, Trollstigen and the long light
The classic Norwegian grand tour runs north from Bergen through the Sognefjord and Geiranger, over Trollstigen, and out to the Atlantic Road — five hundred kilometres of the most dramatic tarmac in Europe, and a day or three depending on how often you stop. It is exactly what the Continental GT was made for.
The mountain passes open in late May and close in October. Outside that window the roads that make this car worth booking are not there to drive, and we would rather send you a Range Rover than a disappointment.
Getting the Continental GT to the start of the drive
Most Norwegian Continental bookings start at Bergen — Flesland arrivals or a hotel on Bryggen — and finish in Ålesund, Trondheim or Oslo, with the repositioning shown openly on the quote.
Every car carries an AutoPASS tag, with tolls reconciled to the booking and shown as one line afterwards. Winter tyres are fitted from October to April at no cost, and cross-border travel into Sweden, Denmark and Finland is permitted and noted on the papers.
Renting the Continental GT in Norway
Can the Bentley Continental GT be delivered to Gardermoen or Bergen?
Yes. We meet you in arrivals at Oslo Gardermoen or Bergen Flesland with the car ready, rather than at an off-terminal car park. Send your flight number and we track the actual landing time, so a delay moves the handover at no cost.
How are AutoPASS tolls handled?
Every car carries a working AutoPASS tag. Charges are reconciled to your booking and shown as one line afterwards — nothing to register, top up or dispute at a barrier.
Can I return the Continental GT in a different Norwegian city?
Yes, and it is how most people tour in it: start in Bergen, finish in Oslo or Trondheim. There is no depot the car must return to, and the repositioning is its own line on the quote.
Can two people tour with full luggage?
Comfortably. Two cases fit the boot, and folding the rear seats gives room for soft bags, golf equipment or camera cases on top of that.
How far in advance should I book?
It is the single most requested car in July and August. Two to three weeks is comfortable; less than 72 hours is subject to availability.
